    On Bits/Pins tab...
    Set HOLDOVER_MODE = Enable.

    Then see section 8.3.5 of datasheet discussing holdover mode, there are two modes, fixed CPout and tracked CPout. The simplest thing to do is to set Fixed CPout holdover mode by ensuring

    FORCE_HOLDOVER = 0
    DISABLE_DLD1_DET = 0 (PLL1 digital lock detect loss activates holdover).
    EN_MAN_DAC = 1 and MAN_DAC = 512 (Use fixed CPout holdover and set holdover Vcc to 1/2 Vcc).

    Holdover exit is controlled by: HOLDOVER_DLD_CNT and PLL1_WND_SIZE. Larger HOLDOVER_DLD_CNT and smaller PLL1_WND_SIZE, the more accurate reference must be to exit holdover. In general I recommend using PLL1_WND_SIZE = 40 ns.

    If EN_VTUNE_RAIL_DET is used, then use only with Fixed CPout mode. Set DAC_LOW_TRIP and DAC_HIGH_TRIP as desired by datasheet (register 0x14d/0x14e) setting 0 is closet to low or high rail respectively.
