CDCLVC1102: Maximum output current specified in the datasheet

Hi,

I've noticed that the datasheet for the CDCLVC11xx family specifies an output current of 50mA. Is this value per output, or the combined maximum? By the logic of it, it seems to be per output, but I want to be sure.

    Hello,

    Yes, 50 mA is the Abs Max rating current per output, and should never be exceeded.  Also, if operating the device with heavy output load conditions, make sure the device does not exceed the Abs Max junction temp of 125C by limiting the device power dissipation & thermals (see Power Considerations for device power calculations).
