Hi Mickey,
The simulator now covers the non-fast calibration time estimates. The fast calibration results from modifying registers that can change the search step sizes as well as let you have different starting points to reach the final desired frequency faster. Please have them see the LMX2592 Datasheet section 8.1.8 to see those registers that make an impact and try those features one by one.
