CDCE62005: SPI_LE problem

Part Number: CDCE62005

Hello Team

My customer is using CDCE62005. Now they have a strange problem. They can read and write the register and the value is also right. but the output clock is not right. When disconnect the SPI_LE, the output clock will be right. Could you give some comment about this issue.

  • Hello,

Sorry for the delay in response, I've notified an engineer to respond.

  • Hello Xiao,
    can you please clarify about:
    - the "output clock is not right". Is the frequency wrong? The amplitude?
    - disconnect SPI_LE signal. Do you mean "electrically disconnect" from the pin? Or "disengage by SPI_LE = HIGH"?

Can you please share, privately by instant message when preferred:
    - the device configuration which the customer tries to program?
    - a schematic snippet which includes the cdce62005 and all connections to its pins, including the reference clock source and the receivers?
    - which MCU/ FPGA is used for SPI at which frequency?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Patrick
