LMK00338: unused outputs

Hi,

We are going to use six outputs for LMK00338. Should we place a 100ohm on the pad between positive and negative output for unused pins ?

    Hi Kato,

    See section 8.3.3, 'Clock Outputs' of the device datasheet for an explanation of unused outputs. Any unused output pins can be left floating with a minimum copper length, so a 100ohm termination is not necessary. However, if the device is connected to an unused transmission line, it should be properly terminated to avoid degraded performance due to reflections, crosstalk, etc.
