Hello,

What is the difference between LMK00334 and LMK00304?

The problem is here:
We have LMK00334 in our device.
But the delivery time became too long.
Can we easily replace LMK00334 with LMK00304(much better delivery time)? 
What rework of the designs should we do in this case?

    Hi Ilya,

    The LMK00304 incorporates a universal output buffer (LVPECL, LVDS, or HCSL) whereas the LMK00334 only supports HCSL outputs. The parts are mostly pin to pin compatible. The only differences are:

    Pin 9 is CLKout_EN (enable output) in LMK00334 and CLKout_TYPE0 (select output type) in LMK00304
    Pin 32 is Vcc (power) in LMK00334 and CLKout_TYPE1 (select output type) in LMK00304
