Hello,

I am looking to use the LMK61E2 with the Kintex Ultrascale FPGA from Xilinx for a prototype board and I have a question regarding the LVDS specification. From the LMK61E2 datasheet, the LVDS Output Characteristics of the LMK61E2 seem to be compatible with the FPGA's LVDS specification, but there is a VOUT, DIFF, PP Differential output peak-to-peak swing specification on the LMK61E2 datasheet that confused me. Is the VOUT, DIFF, PP specify the maximum VOH peak-to-peak? Can someone verify that the LMK61E2 is compatible with the FPGA specification below?

Please refer to section 8.2 (page 27) of the LMK04828 datasheet, it has a note on differential voltage terminology. More detail can also be found in application note AN-912 Common Data Transmission Parameters and their Definitions (SNLA036).

In short Vod of LMK is inside the bounds of Vid of FPGA. So it is compatible.
