BQ32002: question about leakage current

Hi,

My question is about TI's BQ32002.

Battery manufacturers have been asking for leakage currents in relation to their lifetime.

What is the structure of the Automatic Backup Switch Block that selects VCC and VBACK?

Also, when operating with VCC, please let us know the leakage current at VBACK.

It may be a diode or FET, but the datasheet has no content.

Hi TS,

See section 7.3.2. 'Vback Switchover' (page 9) for information on how the backup switch works. Section 6.7. 'Typical Characteristics' (page 6) for a graph showing leakage current at Vback as the device switches between Vcc and Vback.

I am not sure about the structure of the backup switch but I will notify an engineer to respond.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find more detailed information on the structure of the backup switch aside from the description given in section 7.3.2. of the datasheet.
