CDCE913 XTAL availability/selection

Hello,

It is very hard to find suitable crystal for CDCE913 pullability application, Reference part# FD77T not available in any electronics store.

all recommended crystal on page 7 of app note www.ti.com/.../scaa085a.pdf not available. please help us to identify best suitable crystal as most of Crystal MFG not providing all input data needed to derived pullability of crystal.

Hello Pankaj

You can select any xtal which have reasonabile pullability.

This can be calculated as explained in the app note in section 2.2 & 3.1 in the app note.

C0 & C1 can be found in te xtal datasheets.

Hello Puneet,

Please check below datasheet for 27 MHz crystal, I am not able to find C1 value in any datasheet, Few datasheet showing C0 value. Please help.

Hi Pankaj

C0 is the Crystal shunt capacitor and C1 is the Xtal Motional capacitor.
If these parameters are not shown in the Xtal datasheets, you will have to request the xtal manufecturer to provide you the xtal modelling parameters.

Hello Puneet,

I have tried contacting multiple vendor for same yet to receive reply after two days, I think better way to solve this problem is to update reference manual with new part# or give generic parameter which is available in all xtal datasheet. This may lead us to chose other option.
