Hello,
I have a question about zero delay mode on the LMX2581 frequency synthesiser. I am operating it with the following setup:
Device;LMX2581
Evaluation board: LMX2581EVM in original configuration with internal VCO.
Software; Codeloader program version 4.20.02, Part file version 2014-11-09
Reference; 100MHz
Windows 7 SP1 64 bit
Connected with USB2ANY
I am trying to follow the instructions from the LMX2581 datasheet (Section 8.3.10 0-Delay Mode) regarding putting the LMX2581 into 0 delay mode. I want to operate the LMX2581 with the VCO divider inside the loop. It says in the datasheet (Section 8.6.1.6.7; 0_DLY – Zero Delay Mode) that 0 delay mode is needed to do this.
I start with the settings below and get the correct output.
But when I follow the instructions for 0 delay mode from the datasheet I end up with :
And there is no output that makes sense,
What might I be doing wrong here?
