Hi,

I'm working on a research project which requires two signals (up to 13 GHz) generated from a function generator and they need to be synchronized in phase with the potential to change the phase for each independently. I checked the mentioned kit and I think it would meet my requirement. What do you think?

If yes, I noticed that the power supply cable is connected via an SMA connector. Is there any special specification for this power supply?

Dear Mohammad,

Your assessment is correct. you should be able to do the required function with 2 LMX2594. As for power supply, there are no special requirement. We have found the SMA and the coax cable to be a clean way to work with power supply.

To meet the required function, I should therefore utilize 2 LMX2594. In this case, should I connect both of them to the same Reference Pro?

Concerning the power issue, would you recommend any proper power supply available by TI?
