LMX2594: Worst case impedance mismatch

Part Number: LMX2594

Hello,

The load on my LMX2594 is a resonant structure so unless I'm on a resonance frequency the match that the device sees is horrible.  Actually it's not so great even when the load resonates.  So, I have a pad in front of the load which helps a lot.  So, I'm wondering how bad of a return loss can this device tolerate?

Thanks.

  • Hi Roger,

I am afraid we don't have this kind of data.
If output power is not a big deal to you, suggest use 50 ohms pull-up. This will make the output impedance close to 50 ohms. A pad before the load would definitely helps improve return loss.
