RTOS: SNTP

For a project work in an ARM embedded device having RTOS we need to write code that will sync time of device within that of the network. We plan to make use of SNTP for same.

Is there a Free Licence SNTP client reliable / tested code there that can be made use of?

What device are you using? We have a SNTP client with the NDK.

Thanks for the information - we have our own Control Board with FPGA and hardware for Ethernet Connections. The board will be used in a private network for some operations - hence we need to implement only the SNTP client code. Since we are using RTOS - there are considerations on the dependencies, libraries to make use. The code has to be as much thin as possible

Our firmware will run on Zynq-7000 SoC board - what are the external / dependencies libraries are required - it is our coding standard that all dependencies code should be in our firmware repo.

Prakash,

Our networking stack (and SNTP client) have only been validated on TI's CortexA, CortexM and C6xxx devices. It's license is BSD, so in theory it can be used on other companies devices, but you will not get support from TI helping to get this to work.

Thanks for the updates - can you please provide reference / links for the code for us to test. Is it possible to isolate SNTP related code from your NDK library
