CDCLVD2102: About current consumption at using two inputs(INP0/INN0)

Hello,

Regarding to current consumption on CDCLVD2102, my customer is asking a question.

They use only two inputs(INP0/INN0) and remain inputs are connected to pulldown..

INP1/INN1：1K ohm pulldown

OUT2/OUT3：OPEN

(Question)

How many supply current does it consume at using two inputs(INP0/INN0)?

(According to datasheet, the supply current is 106mA(max) at using all input ,800MHz.)

Hi,

What frequency is the input clock on INN0/INP0? For an input of 800MHz or less, the current consumption will be less than 106mA.

Hello Lane,

Thank you for reply.
They will use 233MHz clock for INP0/INN0.
In this case, is the current consumption same as input of 800MHz?

In this case, the current consumption will be less than the datasheet value of 106mA. You can use 106mA as a maximum design constraint.
