LMK04828: using it with a microcontroller

I need a detailed explanation how to use it to know time using a microcontroller, along with circuit diagram(like simple explanation of different pinouts and what does it do), i need it for an embedded task, so any kind of help is awaited. thanks :)

but the question is can i use it directly with a microcontroller or do i need an evaluation module , or something alike like it's own development board making it usable with an MCU, and one more question, does it support SPI?

Hello Tawfeeq,

I am not sure if i understood your question correctly, the device supports SPI interface. The pin function is described in the table on page 7 of the datasheet. The programming sequence is described at page 49 "9.5 Programming". You can interface the device with the microcontroller and program the device. We also have an online tool "TICSpro" which helps to program the EVM and can also generate the registers for particular configuration.

Yes,
The device has SPI interface. You can also control the SPI interface using a microcontroller.
