PLLATINUMSIM-SW: PLLatinumsim is crashing when a request is made for an excel output

Part Number: PLLATINUMSIM-SW
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2571

At present, the customer is loading the device LMX2571 and updating Fout to 880. Everything seems to have worked fine but when the customer selects 'data export' 'export data to Excel' an undandled exception error is generated.

  • David,

Folllowing up on the email I sent you, I am closing this issue. The fix will be in the version I am releasing this week.

In summary, the root of the issue is that PLLatinum Sim was assuming that when Excel opened a workbook, it starts with 3 sheets. But this was no the case for you as you were starting with less. I was able to replicate your issue by going into excel under File->Options-> General and then there is an option to change the number of starting sheets to something other than 3 (that's for my Excel 2010). The fix was simply to add more worksheets if they did not exist.

    Regards,
    Dean
