LMX2594: LMX2594 programming

Part Number: LMX2594

Hello, I have programmed the registers to get a freq of 8000 MHz from output A and it locked. Then I wanted to get 4000 MHz by program R45 = 0x2D C0DF,  but the freq become about 7300 Mhz not locked.

what is wrong with this programming?

    Yaacov,

    That programming action should only have turned the output MUX from VCO to Channel divider. That is correct things to do. Is your R75[10:6]=0? That makes channel divider a div-by-2.
