CDCE62005 application

My customer installed the TI CDCE62005 application (CDCE62005_v1-4-3_Installer.msi ) from the TI website. He wants to change some of the frequencies he is using. The install went fine but when he tries to run it (CDCD62005.jar) he gets an error, "Java Virtual Machine Launcher - Could not find main class.  Program will exit" dialog box.

The operating system is Win XP Pro.

Any idea what that could be?

    Hi Ignacio,

    This error occors when Java needs to be installed on the PC. Here is the site the download Java: http://www.java.com/en/download/

    This should hopefully fix the problem.

    I have a follow up from my customer.  How do I upload the files he sent me so that you can see them?

    I have the app running but when I open either of the attached .ini files that Joey sent me back in January, it loads something but nothing close to what it should look like (see bmp pics). Am I loading the .ini properly (through the File/Open command?

     

    I am using a newer version of the tool than what they used back then also.

    I have seen something like this before. One way to resolve this is to save a .ini file using the new version of the GUI, copy and paste the values from the old .ini file into the new text document, and open the new modified file.
