Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY, LMK61E2, CODELOADER
I am using the TI Code Loader SW (Version 4.20.2) for programming our evaluatiation boards LMK61E2EVM.
Some days ago the code loader (TI windows sw) was requesting an update od the USB interface (USB2ANY ?) on board the LMK61E2EVM.
Finally the upgrade was done to version 2.8.2.0, BUT this firmware version cannot control the LMK61E2 device correctly anymore.
Beside the fact, that the code loader software shows a false address (08? instead of 5A - which can be corrected) the LMK61E2 does not work correct anymore. If you enter another frequency, I'll see the signal shifting and then disappearing. I tried on several LMK61E2EVM boards for several houres!
If I load the older firmware 2.7.0.0 to the USB2ANY, the evaluation board works again, but only with a code loader SW on another PC where it is not (yet) demanding an upgrade ot the USB2ANY.
The major problem is, that the code loader SW on other PCs requires and update, but then the updated EVM board (having the USB2ANY) does not work with the LMK61E2 device correctly anymore.
If the code loader SW would accept an older firmware (as it did just some days ago), everything would be fine.
