I am trying to design my own board using LMX2581E reference EVM circuit and wondering about CE pin. CE pin doesn't seem to like be used for Microwire programming but still in microwire control line interface. Is CE pin mainly for power-down with pull-down and power-up with pull-up? If so, I can make this pin as pull-up all time with bias line with ~10kohm resistor.
But, once EVM was programmed, when I probed CE pin with multimeter, it seems it is "low" state rather than "high". I am so confused about this CE pin.
So, questions are:
1. what is the CE pin state as a default for operation?
2. can we make all time pull-down or pull high if this pin is only for power down mode enabling?
3. we also want to read back for verification. Is this CE pin state high or low matters for read back?
