Part Number: CDCE72010

HI TI experts:

     CDCE72010 is  unlock!

as follows is passive filter and register;VCXO is VX-501; THE reference clock is 10MHz;can you give some advice.

  • Hello ln ye,
is this your own application or do you use an EVM?

Can you please let me know the exact VCXO model number to confirm the VCXO frequency.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Patrick

  • HI Patrick:

this is my own application。the VCXO model number is VX-501

1.device configuration :  it‘s in the file named “12.ini” 。(in my last replyment, you can check it)

    2.frequency plan:reference input is 10MHz,Output is 100MHz

    3.schematic implementation(PS.:  R27;R30;R28;R31;R1001 ;R98;R97 is not soldering。R39 is 1kohm)

  • Hello ln ye,
thank you very much for completing the picture about the configuration and setup.
    I'll check it out!

    Best regards,
    Patrick
  • Hello ln ye,
I aquired the VCXO model which you are using and will check it out. The device configuration is ok for your loop filter and frequency plan (and when you use the HCMOS version of the VCXO).
Can you please confirm whether you see U1P showing 100 MHz from the VCXO?
I think you need to replace the 100 nF cap to VCXO_IN pin with 0 Ohm.
Can you still reach the status pin with a probe?
When you can, please let me know what you see when you write 0x0040200C and 0x00C0200C? In first case this should show the 78.1 kHz from reference. In second case this shows the 78.1 kHz coming the feedback path. This way you can check if the input buffer sees a valid signal.

    Best regards,
    Patrick
  • hi Patrick:

  • Hello ln ye,
