I am looking for an easy way to configure the LMK61E2 oscillator and I came accross the CodeLoader v4.20.2. It seem like CodeLoader support programming the LMK61E2, but when I look at the register map, it doesn't have all the registers specified in the LMK61E2 datasheet. For example, register R3 and R10 isn't in the program. Also, CodeLoader contain registers that isn't in the datasheet such as register R24.

So my question is does CodeLoader support the LMK61E2? If so, how do I map the register table from CodeLoader to the register table in the datasheet? The datasheet only has 1 byte per register, but CodeLoader seem to contain at least 2 bytes. Should I ignore the upper bytes?

Hello Andrew,
please check out TICS Pro software. It integrates the oscillators as well.
Codeloader as well as TICS Pro treat the register map like an SPI burst, so it will always show the register offset and the data to you at the same time.
There may be registers which are not exposed in the software as the main purpose is to operate the EVM and adapt new settings. Therefore it can happen that readonly and reserved registers are not part of the EVM software.

The TICS Pro software doesn't have the LMK61E2 oscillator, so I can't use it. I found out that there's a LMK61xx Oscillator Programming Tool and it seem to be similar to the TICS Pro software, so I'll see if I can use that instead.
