LMK04610: Zero-Delay Mode setting

Part Number: LMK04610

Hi all.

We would like to set Zero-Delay Mode.
I attached the file. This file is my setting of TICSpro.

The default setting of PLL2 controls's PLL2_FBDIV MUXSEL Tab is selected Feedback, so I changed this tab to OUTCH5 and OUTCH6.
However when I change the tab to OUTCH5 or OUTCH6 the output frequency stirred and PLL2 is LOL.
I don't know the reason to be above phenomenon.
So please tell me the setting to set Zero-Delay Mode.

And I have one more question, I confirmed the following explanation in the datasheet.
9.3.8 Low Skew Mode
The LMK0461x low skew mode is an internal feedback loop that minimizes the phase error between output and reference input.
The feedback can be selected from CLKout5 or CLKout6.

Are CLKout5 or CLKout6 internal feedback?

Sorry, I would like to know your comment as soon as possible, so please help me.
Best Regards,
Sho

  • Hi Sho,
CLKout5 and CLKout6 could feedback internal.
Noticed CLKout5 and CLKout6 could have different frequency, please make sure after dividers, PFD should get the correct frequency, be the same as REF path.

    Regards,
    Shawn
  • Hi Sho,
Please make sure that you are using the newest version of the TICSpro, the earlier version had a bug for this mode.
Send me your TICSpro file and I can have a look (you will have to zip the file and attach as this forum does not allow to attach .tcs files, you can also send me a direct email.)
    Best regards
