LMK03328: Hot in initial condition

Hello E2E,

Our customer is designing for new board using the LMK03328.
At initial condition, VDDO(1.8V) current is about 0.4-A. Device has hot.
If register optimised, is it solved?

    Hi ACGUY,

    This current consumption is not outside of the ordinary for LMK03328. You can use the values in datasheet table 8.6 to estimate the consumption of the device with your configuration.

    The device temperature may rise during operation. It is OK if the device is hot: It will perform will according to the datasheet specifications as long as the device does not exceed the limits in the Recommended Operating Conditions (datasheet Table 8.3)
