LMK03328: TICSPRO Software problem for LMK03328

Hi team,

The customer uses LMK03328. When he uses his LMK03328 board (not LMK03328EVM) with USB2ANY, and TICSPRO software,there is an error.

It shows"USB communication Error  ERR_I2C_ADDR_NAK". 

Q1 Would you explain this reason?

Q2 I would like to get if the customer uses his board,not our EVM,  can he use the TICSPRO software?

    Hi Mickey,

    1) I’m not able to recreate that exact error, but in general the error is saying that the I2C address being communicated to is not-acknowledging the I2C command.

    a. Can you share a screen shot of how the communication interface is set up (USB communications>interface)?

    b. When “Identify” is clicked in the Communications Setup window, does the light on the USB2ANY blink as expected?

    c. Please verify that the USB2ANY is using firmware version 2.7.0.0

    2) Yes, TICS Pro may be used with the customer board + USB2ANY. If other devices are present on the I2C bus, set the I2C address manually (USB communications>interface, then enter the I2C address and click “Set I2C Address”). The scan I2C button will select the device with the lowest I2C address, which may not be the LMK03328.
