TLC556: capacitor for CONT pin

Is there any requirement for the accuracy and TCR of this capaciter.

what side effect will it have if the accuracy changed from 2% to 5%?

Jessica,

The CONT pin is the 2/3 Vcc reference voltage and the capacitor reduces noise (from Vcc) on the CONT pin.

The value of this capacitor does not affect the timing period. I would expect no difference from the 2% to 5% change.
