LMK00105: about LMK00105 support 1Hz

Part Number: LMK00105
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCLVC1104, CDCLVC1106

hi dear supporting team,

for LMK00105, could it support 1Hz, 100Hz input?  if yes, if customer operate at 3.3V power supply, could they accept 3.3V logic input? (from d/s, it seems at 3.3V support, our max input could only be 2V, right?)  and  how about the input cap of CLKin?  tks a lot!

  • Yes, LMK00105 can support input clock frequencies down to DC (0 Hz) using a DC-coupled input interface. Even with 3.3V supply, they need use a voltage divider to attenuate 3.3V input to <2Vpp swing. Also, it is important for the input slew rate to be sufficiently fast (recommend >= 2V/ns input slew rate).

Alternatively, if they don't want to use a voltage divider, they could use CDCLVC1104 or CDCLVC1106, which accepts 3.3V input directly.
