CDCLVC1310: VDDO with output channel

Part Number: CDCLVC1310
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK00101, LMK00105

Hi Team,

How are the four pins VDDO map to the output channel 0~9 ?  If one of the VDDo pin no power, which output channel will be influenced?

Thank you.

  • All VDDO pins should be tied together to the same supply voltage. Unused outputs should be left floating.

Alternatively, LMK00101 and LMK00105 support two output banks with separate and independent VDDO supplies for Bank A and Bank B outputs. This could allow you to operate with different output voltages between the two banks, or leave one bank unpowered by pulling down the bank's VDDO pins to ground via weak pulldown resistor ( like 1kohm).

  • Hi Alan,

My question is in some case, one of the VDDO pin no power, but other 3 pins work normally.  The outputs will be effect or not?

    Thanks.

  • The VDDOs pins are bonded onto a VDDO power ring on the die, so the pins are all connected together internally.   All outputs should remain active when only one VDDO pin is unpowered.
