Apologies in advance for naivete; I am an absolute neophyte with respect to TI's chips
My company is developing an FPGA-based system including an FMC144 mezzanine card. The FMC144 has a collection of TI chips (LMK, DAC, 2 x ADCs) all of which are programmed via SPI from a Nios CPU in the FPGA.
The FPGA-internal circuits are built and verified, so the team is moving on to the TI chips.
We have carefully analyzed the register map and know the value of each register that needs to be assigned a value different from the power-on reset value in order to achieve the desired configuration and output tone frequency.
However, the literature out there makes it seem as though the programming sequence needs to be a little different from the manual's direction to program monotonically increasing addresses in the register space.
Are there FAEs downunder who can provide guidance?
Maybe there's enough knowledge in the ether that specific questions can get answered here?
Hopeful thanks for any guidance --todd
