This is valuable feedback, much appreciated.

Just to understand your proposed circuit, is this simple voltage divider still recommended for lower common-mode voltages below 1V (let's say 0.5V) as well?

    Yes, it can be used for the lower Vcms as well... of course the more you divide down the smaller your amplitude, but LCPECL does give you the best starting point for voltage division by doing what it can to minimize Vcm and maximize swing from which you can divide down.
