We wish to set up the LMK04828 to support a VCO1 frequency of 2.88 GHz. This is outside the range of the internal VCOs on the standard LMK04828, but is within range of VCO1 for the -EP version.
Does the CDT for the LMK04828 simulate the VCO1 accurately for operating at 2.88GHz in order to use this for -EP design simulation?
A quick bench test using the standard LMK04828 EVM shows PLL2 locks and good phase noise when configured for 2.88 GHz (has to adjust value of R2 of the loop filter due to new PFD settings).
