Hi,

I'm looking for a 2:1 clock switch for 156.25MHz. Which device is the proper solution? I'm looking at analog mux like MUX508, but I think it would bring huge jitter.

    Di,

    The MUX508 is a 36V 8:1 mux which is not a match for your low voltage 2:1 application.  

    Passive FET switches do not bring much jitter but only a few devices have shown this in their datasheet.  What do you think about using the TMUX136 device which is a low voltage 2:1 switch with ~10ps jitter?
