CDCE913: CDCE913 Phase Noise Performance

Part Number: CDCE913
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2594, CDCE62002

Dear Sir,

My customer is interesting in using CDCE913 for reference clock generator.

I could not find simulator nor a phase noise performance data/graph in the datasheet.

Do you have a sample measurement plot or data or simulation  to be shared?

CECE913 gets 10MHz input and 140MHz output which will source to LMX2594. Within 100KHz offset phase noise is very critical.

Best regards,

Masa

  • Hi Masa,

I would recommend to consider an alternative solution for applications requiring low jitter. CDCE913 is cost optimized for applications that do not necessarily require high performance. Please consider CDCE62002.

    Kind regards,
    Lane Boyd

  • Hi Lane,
Thank you very much for your advice. CDCE62002 will be considered.
May I know around how much dBc/Hz difference between them? CDCE62002 has phase noise analyses section in d/s and an example reference point is fine to be compared.

    Best regards,
    Masa
