Linux/LMK04828: Using PLL2

Hello folks.
I have a question about LMK04828.
Can i use only PLL2 without external VCO and PLL1. As i understood in case when i use only PLL2 i must use OSCin as input reference clock for PLL2?

No.
When using PLL1, we have to use an OSCin input, then PLL2's input is fixed.

Give up PLL1, only to use PLL2 is fine.

Refer to details block diagram in datasheet .

Hi Shawn!
I have a clocking source (200 MHz) with a low phase-noise and I do not need to use PLL1 (I do not need to use Jitter Cleaner).
As i understood from block diagram and your words, i can give up PLL1, and use only PLL2. In this case the OSCin input (pins 43 and 44) can be reference clock for PLL2.
Am i right?

Yes, you are right. PLL2 can work with an OSCIn input.
