LMK04816: What's the difference between CLKOUT6 and other CLKOUT (such as CLKOUT0 or CLKOUT2)? Except for OSC_MUX.

Part Number: LMK04816

The board designed by ourselves, the same output circuit design and the same LDO provide 3.3V power supply for vcc_clkout.

Using software to configure the same frequency output frequency (2.4 GHz) and the same level standard (LVPECL 2000 mVpp), OSC_MUX of PLL2 only chooses VCO, but the output phenomenon is that the indicator lamp shows that PLL1 and PLL2 are locked, but only clkout6 has 2.4 GHz output of 1500 mVpp, clkout0 and clkout2 can only see about 10 mVpp output.

What may be the reason?

  • Try to consider below items.
    1, Schematic for checking
2, Save a.tcs file. It could be loaded by TICS Pro.
3, Mode "Duall PLL, Int VCO, 0-Delay", not sure which clock is fed back.
4, Try to change clock Divider & Clock Output type for troubleshooting.
