CDCLVC1310: about CDCLVC1310 input bias

hi dear supporting team,

is it ok to operate CDCLVC1310 with below circuit? the driver side is 1.8V, CDCLVC1310 has 3.3V power supply, and input without bias(i.e.no bias circuit like the one in the red circle), and has bias at negative side. tks！

This configuration does not meet the datasheet spec for minimum VIH of 2V. Consider using a 3.3V LVCMOS input.

For the voltage level issue I double checked with BU before, since there is another spec on differential input which allowed 1.3V Vid , and the chip does not know whether it is single ended input or differential, so it should be ok to have 1.8V drive. Could you pls help double check.

And if the level is ok, then is it ok to have no bias at positive side? Tks!

Hi Vera,

You can use it with 1.8V amplitude and no bias resistors on the positive side
