LMX2595: LMX2595 top marking decoding

Part Number: LMX2595

Hi,

I want some help in decoding the marking information found on the LMX2595 parts we received.

The marking is LMX2595 TI 74J P0C4 G4

The CoC doc shows that the parts were packaged/manufactured around 2018 May.

How can I decipher the top marking to ensure the parts i received belong to that time period ?

Thank you,

Vishak

  • Vishak,

I can tell you that the Year code is "7" and the month code is "4".
One might think that this might mean April 2017, but I'm not sure how the year code translates to the year. Also, I'm not sure if this date code translates to when the wafer was manufactured, or when it was actually assembled.

Here's what I do know about this marking ...

    Top Line:
LMX2595 - This is the part

    2nd Line:
    TI 74J
TI - THis is for texas instruments
    7 - Year code.
    4 - Month Code
    J - Primary site code.

    3rd Line:
    P0C4
    P - Secondary site code
    0C4 - Assembly lot code
G4 - not sure, but related to assembly or lot, not date.

    Dean
