LMX2592: Recommended Splitter?

Hi guys,

Do you have a suggested balun/180degree splitter you recommend with the LMX2592?

My customer wants the same PLL output to go to four destinations and was wondering if we have any suggestions.

Brian,
In general, we have not tried may different baluns or splitters to get multiple outputs.

Here are some other choices as well:
1. use a buffer
2. If you don't care about phase, you can take both sides and both outputs and get 4 single-ended outputs.

For the buffer idea, any fanout buffer devices you would recommend for that high of frequency?

Hello,

The LMK0030x buffer family would support up to 3 GHz outputs. For higher frequencies, if the common mode noise on the PCB is acceptable then above recommendation of splitting the P/N outputs would give you the 4 outputs you are looking for.
