CDCM7005: Enquire the different between space and industry grade

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to find out the different between CDCM7005 and CDCM7005-SP.

1) Does both space and industry grade using the same process technologies node, eg same die design?

2) If both is the same process technologies, could I presume the space grade device has gone thru the additional screening like radiation tests and its package to qualify as space device?

3) If both device is not the same process technologies node, what is the different, eg the process technologies for industry CMOS where else space grade is bicmos.

Hi,

No they are are not the same die. Design and/or process changes are implemented in the -SP version to mitigate Total Ionizing Dose (TID) and Single Event Effects that devices used for space applications will experience.
