LMK00338: AC Coupling or DC Coupling for Input HCSL Clock to CLKIN Pin

HI 

I am trying to input a HCSL Clock to the LMK00338 CLKinP/N(PIN 16 ,17)，direct DC coupling as shown in Figure 20 below, or need additional AC coupling capacitors?

What is the principle of AC or DC coupling?

    Hi Ao,

    DC couple is possible with a HCSL driver.
    The benefit of AC-coupling being that you don't need to worry the DC content matching between the driver and the receiver. All you need to care about is the voltage swing.
