CDCI6214: Pulldown / Pullup resistor on REFP?

Hello,

I have a question regarding REFP pad of CDCI6214. Is there any internal pullup or pulldown resistor on this pin? The datasheet is just talking about input capacitance, but not does not show input resistance or input leakage current.

Hello Michael,

In both XTAL mode and CMOS input mode, there are no internal pull-ups/pull-downs on REFP.

Hi Liam,

thanks for the quick reply, but can you please double check.

I am talking about REFP (Pin 5) which has - as far as I undestand - no XTAL mode. We are measuring something around 40kOhms to GND.

Hi Michael,

To add to Liam's response, when configured to XTAL / CMOS input mode, there are no internal pull-ups/pull-downs on REFP.

For differential input mode, REFP/N connects to an internal AC coupling capacitor followed by a pull up resistor. The pullup resistor is ~50k nominally.
