LMX2592: RFOutA vs RFOutB delay

Part Number: LMX2592

Hi Dean,

In case both RFOutA and RFOutB are active (and producing the same frequency, configured identically), is there any data which characterizes the delay between the outputs?  In case the outputs have been designed with matched length internally, to produce a very small delay with respect to one another, I'm also interested to know that.

Thanks!

Marjorie

  • Majorie,

Unfortunately, we have no formal data that characterizes RFoutA to RFoutB skew. The output structures for RFoutA and RFoutB have been designed to be matched, but we have no characterization data for this.

Also note that we swapped polarity of pins in the July 2017 datasheet for these pins so that the skew would be the same. So we actually have looked at this and it does seem to be well matched, just no formal reports or data.

    Regards,
    Dean
  • Hi Dean,

Thanks, it is still helpful to know that they have been designed for matched skew.

    Kind regards,

    Marjorie
