A1. Yes, CDCI6214 supports I2C. There are two EEPROM pages available to store configurations. There is also a pin mode where the I2C bus is disabled, and these pins will act as individual output enables.
A2. The TICS Pro Software GUI and CDCI6214EVM can be used to simply design.
