Question about temperature range of the IC CGS74LCT2524

Question about temperature range of the IC CGS74LCT2524 of National Semiconductor Acquired by TI. (I got in "Part Number" field - Part number "CGS74LCT2524" not recognized).

In datasheet of the part CGS74CT2524M and CGS74LCT2524M ( National Semiconductor / TI ) Clock Driver - the temperature range on the first page of datasheet is "Industrial temperature of −40°C to +85°C"

but in Ordering information "74" in part number defined as commercial and industrial (which is real?)

On all distributor sites as Digikey, Arrow, Mouser etc,. the temperature range for the part is −40°C to +70°C

Which temperature range is true for this part?

the issue with operating temperature below 0C - Commercial version of the IC is only till 0C but industrial is - 40C

First, I must caution you that the CGS74LCT2524M was obsoleted many years ago and is no longer available. If an alternative is needed, please check http://www.ti.com/clock-and-timing/buffers/overview.html

Regarding your question: The temperature range is the commercial range (0°C to 70°C) for "74" and the industrial range (-40°C to 85°C) for "64." CGS64LCT2524M and CGS64CT2524M are rated for the industrial temperature range. CGS74LCT2524M and CGS74CT2524M are rated for the commercial temperature range.
