Hey,

I have two things to clarify regarding LMX2594.

1. When the LMX2594 goes to unlocked state or invalid state what will be the output of LMX?

2. Can you share the details of output power details from 100MHz to 3GHz. Figure 18 in datasheet comprises data only for 3GHz to 15GHz.

Hello,

1. OUT_MUTE function is available for muting outputs when lock detect is not valid. Please reference Table 4 in the datasheet.

2. The output power below 3GHz is flat to 100MHz when using resistive load.

I have one more question,

If i don't use OUT_MUTE function available and my PLL stops in Unlocked state what will be the output ?

Hi Srinivasan,

No matter if it is locked or not, there will be signal coming out from the RFout ports. Depends on the ordinary unlock nature, the output signal may look very differently and therefore, we are not able to make a generic guess.
