Hello Sir,

we are use CDCE813 for low jitter but IC not work proper for low jitter...

we are use input frequency 74.25MHz and output frequency 74.25MHz and 2MHz but output jiiter is above 100ps....how to remove jitter...

Hello,

CDCE813-Q1 is a low power and low cost part. It is not recommended for low jitter requirement. Depending on your application, please consider CDCE6214-Q1 or LMK03328 instead.

our requirement to reduce jitter at below 20ps...

Can we use other jitter cleaner circuit...

Hi Phew,

Is 20ps peak to peak or rms jitter? Are you looking at integrated jitter? If so, what's the integration bandwidth? You can definitely use our jitter cleaner IC and add to another stage, but I don't recommend doing that because they have much better performance than what you need. I still recommend switching to CDCE6214-Q1. It's jitter performance can meet your requirement and it's also a low-power, low-cost part. It's also very easy to use.

If we use CDCE6214 IC...

1 : can we use pin10 and pin22 for LVCMOS single ended output...????

2: what will jitter at 2 MHz frequency for output pin 10 and pin 22 single ended LVCMOS output...????/

Hi Phew,

Sorry for the late response, CDCE813 cannot reduce 100ps jitter to 100fs. The datasheet states that the period jitter is typically 50ps.

Only output 1 and 4 support LVCMOS format. So that would be pin 10 and 22. According to datasheet, max single ended jitter is 1.05ps typical for integer mode and 2ps typical for fractional mode. Depending on your VCO frequency, 2MHz can use either integer or fractional PLL.
