Dear sir,
I want to drive an Ultrasonic Transducer of say 50 watts at 40Khz frequency for ultrasonic cleaning method on single phase. Do we have any design ?

Hello Manoj,
TI has an Application Report, SLAA780A, "PGA460 full-bridge driver solutions for ultrasonic transducers." It uses a DRV8870, 3.6-A Brushed DC Motor Driver (PWM Control) to drive the transducer. You can view the report here:

Please note that the PGA460 is supported by TI's Sensor products, and the DRV8870 is supported by the Motor Drivers groups. Therefore, any questions about applying those devices should be directed to their e2e forums.

The evaluation board shown seems to be for very low wattage. And my input is AC 230V how will it support ?
Hello Manoj,
I provided the SLLA780A information as a concept that you may be able to use as a basis for your particular application requirements. It appears that the evaluation board is for much lower voltage than 230 VAC. As previously suggested, you may want to contact the Motor Driver e2e forum and see if they have any ideas for a high-power transducer driver. Unfortunately, we do not have any Precision Amplifier products that can provide the high-power, high-voltage drive that your application requires.

Hi Manoj,
Since you have rejected my latest response please provide your company information and email address. I have an idea of an resource outside TI that may have products suitable for your high-voltage, high-power application.
