Does PLLatinum Sim v1.5.4.0 have capabilities for modeling the VCO doubler function in the LMX2595 device? If so, how?

No.

But you can input 0.5 for VCO divider, the tool can show the doubler result.

Thank you for replying.

I understand what you're suggesting, and I went down that path, but the red fill in the Fout block made me wary.

What you're suggesting, and the results indicate, that the VCO doubler does not degrade phase noise by any more than ideal, +20log2, i.e., adds only 6.0dB.

That's a safe assumption?

Are there future plans to update the program to add VCO doubler?

Yes, PLLatinum Sim does support the doubler.

Also, you can click on the divide sign and it will change to a "x" sign.

Also, be aware that the doubler only works to 20 GHz.
