LMX2434EVAL: evaluation board connection to Codeloader software

Hi,

We have the LMX2434 evaluation board and we try to communicate it with Codeloader software. We doesn't have a parallel port in our PC, could we use a LPT to USB adapter or we have to use the usb2any instead?

Did the EVM come with an USB2ANY and an USB2ANY-uWIRE adapter board?

No, it doesn't. It comes with an uWIRE to parallel port adapter but we doesn't have such port in our PC. Is an USB to parallel port would work?

I don't know, I haven't tried this before.

Since we don't sell the USB2ANY and the USB2ANY-uWIRE board, if you have the USB-2-parallel port adapter, you'd better give it a trial.

Hi,

it doesn't work, there is an other way to communicate with the LMX2434 EVB if we don't have a parallel port? We have already bought two units .

Hi Sapir,

If you have a USB2ANY device, you can interface with the uWire header by following this diagram as a guide.
