LM555: Maximum input tolerance

Hi Team,

A customer is interested to know what the input tolerance of the internal voltage divider in the LM555 package.

Do we have this tested on chip level?

    Lucas,

    The LM555 timer datasheet only mentions the control pin (open circuit) voltage.

    The typical impedance of the control pin is not in the data sheet, but sample data impedance is 3.3 kohms. My estimate is that this could vary by up to 20%

    The control pin can be pulled to any voltage between ground and VCC.
